Shock on Oppong Nkrumah’s face during Akufo-Addo’s Aisha Huang gaffe tells it all

The facial expression of the Information Minister, Vincent Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, tells it all that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is making communicating for the government very difficult.
That is the claim of Nhyiaeso Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ernest Afayam, who was reacting to the President’s purported gaffe on the Aisha Huang deportation situation during a radio interview in the Volta region.
President Akufo-Addo said he is not sure about her earlier deportation from Ghana.
According to him, her re-emergence raises concerns about whether she left the country in the first place.
“I’m not still sure whether she was in fact deported. Or whether she fled the country the first time and has now come back. There still seems to be some uncertainty about it.
In a radio discussion, monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Chairman Afayam, noted that the President is making communicating for the NPP government difficult as the Information Minister is always cleaning up the dirty job of Nana Addo.
‘‘Did you see the face of the Information minister, when the president made that statement he was shocked, I know in his head he was thinking the job is hard, what has his man done’’
‘‘He knows the president is making his job difficult, the dirty work is now too much for him and other party communicators to handle, no amount of PR will work, the people now know the truth’’ he said.
Mr. Afayam noted that party communicators are now unable to face the NDC and other panelists who appear on the radio to speak the truth.
‘‘I am telling you, now, most of the party communicators are not happy when they are coming on air to speak to mistakes or miscommunications by the government and Nana Addo, the job is now difficult for them’’
‘‘How many mistakes does the president want to make for people to be correcting him all the time? No wonder he said try me when he needed power, there are too many gaffes by this president and if I want to enumerate we will not leave this studio’’
